Unsubscribe
The link in an email
Every FlowState email has an unsubscribe link in its footer, except the always-on categories. The link has this form:
https://app.flowstate.copebit.io/u/<token>?category=<category>- Click the link. A confirmation page opens.
- Click Unsubscribe.
Result: the page shows Unsubscribed and a Resubscribe button, so you can undo it at once. The category of that email is now off for all your tenants, from the next notification on. The link cannot turn a category off for one tenant only; use Manage preferences for that.
One-click unsubscribe in your mail app
FlowState emails carry the standard one-click unsubscribe headers (RFC 8058), so your mail app can offer its own Unsubscribe button:
List-Unsubscribe: <https://api.flowstate.copebit.io/v1/unsubscribe/<token>>
List-Unsubscribe-Post: List-Unsubscribe=One-ClickThe one-click unsubscribe turns off every optional category, not only the one of that email.
This includes the two Slack alerts. There is no mailto: alternative.
Your unsubscribe token
The token in the link is personal. It is created with your first notification and does not change. Anyone who has the link can change your notification settings, so do not forward FlowState emails with the link in them.
Resubscribe
- Click Resubscribe on the confirmation page right after unsubscribing, or
- turn the category on again in Manage preferences.
Always-on categories cannot be unsubscribed from; their emails have no unsubscribe link. Bounces and spam complaints stop email delivery independently of these settings; see Deliverability.
