Disconnecting Marketplace Offers
This page shows how to disconnect your seller account, what that changes, and how to reconnect or remove the connector from AWS.
Disconnect
You need the tenant owner or admin role.
- Go to Settings → Integrations → Marketplace.
- Click Disconnect.
- Click Confirm disconnect.
Result: the page shows Not connected and the Set up Marketplace connector button.
Over MCP, use disconnect_marketplace_connector.
What disconnecting changes
- FlowState deletes the connector settings: the role ARN, the account ID and the ExternalId.
- Sellers can no longer create, release, clone, change or expire offers. The card shows No Marketplace connector configured.
- Your connector role stays in AWS, but FlowState can no longer use it, because the ExternalId is gone.
- FlowState stops counting your released offers for billing. The hours up to the disconnect stay billed; from the next hourly count on, nothing is billed. See Metering.
What stays:
- Your offers and agreements in AWS Marketplace. FlowState never changes or deletes them. A released offer stays available to the buyer.
- Uploaded EULAs, offer defaults and HubSpot user roles.
- The audit log.
Reconnect
Reconnecting creates a new ExternalId, so you must update your connector role.
- Go to Settings → Integrations → Marketplace and click Set up Marketplace connector.
- Copy the new External ID.
- Deploy the connector again with the new value, in the same way as before (OpenTofu or CloudFormation). This updates the trust policy of your existing role.
- Paste the role ARN into Role ARN and click Connect.
Result: the page shows Marketplace connector active. Offers created before the disconnect show again, because FlowState reads them from AWS.
Remove the connector from AWS
If you stop using Marketplace Offers, remove the role from the seller account:
- CloudFormation: delete the connector stack.
- OpenTofu: run
tofu destroyin the connector directory.
This does not change your offers and agreements in AWS Marketplace, or FlowState’s own data.
