Marketplace Offers prerequisites

Check these points before you connect your AWS Marketplace seller account.

In AWS

  • An AWS Marketplace seller account with at least one published SaaS product. FlowState works only with SaaS products. It does not read other product types, such as AMI or container products. To check, sign in to the AWS Marketplace Management Portal  with the seller account and look under Products.
  • Permission to deploy the connector in the seller account. The connector is a CloudFormation stack or an OpenTofu module that creates one IAM role with an inline policy. If you cannot create IAM roles, ask your AWS administrator to run the setup with you.

The seller account does not have to be the AWS account that you use for APN, or the one that pays for FlowState.

In FlowState

  • HubSpot is connected, and the FlowState card is on your deal page. Sellers create offers from the card. See HubSpot → Getting started.
  • The AWS Marketplace connector feature is on. Turn on AWS Marketplace connector under Settings → Features. Until it is on, the Marketplace pages are not available.
  • You are a tenant owner or admin.

Summary checklist

  • A seller account with at least one published SaaS product.
  • You can deploy a CloudFormation stack or an OpenTofu module in that account.
  • HubSpot connected, and the FlowState card on the deal page.
  • AWS Marketplace connector turned on under Settings → Features.
  • You are a tenant owner or admin.
