Deliverability

This page is for IT and security teams that need to check FlowState’s email setup, or make sure their mail filters do not block FlowState emails.

DNS records

DKIM — SES Easy DKIM with keys managed and rotated by AWS. Three records of this form are published:

SPF — published on the envelope sender domain:


mail.flowstate.copebit.io  TXT  "v=spf1 include:amazonses.com ~all"

~all marks mail from other senders as suspicious instead of rejecting it. If your mail filter needs -all, contact support.

Allowlisting

To make sure FlowState emails pass your mail gateway, allowlist:

the sending domain flowstate.copebit.io and the envelope domain mail.flowstate.copebit.io,
or the Amazon SES IP ranges that AWS publishes.

FlowState emails carry no custom header to filter on. They do carry the one-click unsubscribe headers List-Unsubscribe and List-Unsubscribe-Post (RFC 8058); see Unsubscribe.

Bounces and spam complaints

Event	What FlowState does
Hard bounce	Stops sending email to the address at once. You can recover yourself; see below.
Soft bounce	Counts it. After 3 soft bounces, the address is treated as a hard bounce.
Spam complaint	Stops sending email to the address for good. Only FlowState support can turn it on again.

A stopped address receives no email at all, including the always-on categories.

Recover from a hard bounce

Use the MCP tool re_verify_my_email() (or POST /v1/users/me/email/re-verify). FlowState sends a short test email to your address. When it is delivered, sending starts again automatically; you do not need to click anything. The tool does nothing if your address is not in the hard-bounce state, and you can use it only a few times a day.

Data residency

FlowState sends email through the SES endpoint in eu-central-1. FlowState does not store email content.
